Make Sure All Money Orders or Transfers must be in the Name of [EMBASSY OF SUDAN] ONLY! not Consular Section OR ADDING OTTAWA at the end of the name!

 

Entry Visa: Applicants of Sudanese Descent Click Here 

1. Issued to persons going to the Sudan for the purpose of tourism or business whose stay would be from eight (8) days to three (3) months.

2. Extensions of periods of stay in the Sudan may be done through the Passport, Immigration and Nationality Office in Khartoum, Sudan.

3. Fee is 185.00 Canadian Dollars [Will increase to $235 as of November 1, 2023]

4. For longer periods of stay the fees are:

5. For six months: Fee is $520.00; [Will increase to $620.00 as of November 1, 2023]

6. For one year: Fee is $975.00;[Will increase to $1125 as of November 1, 2023]

7. Please note that fees are nonrefundable.

Transit Visa:

1. Issued to persons going to the Sudan for the purpose of transit, tourism or whose stay would be one (1) to seven (7) days.

2. The country of destination after the Sudan should be indicated on the application form, together with the anticipated date of arrival and departure from Sudan.

3. Applicant's passport should be duly endorsed for permission to enter the next country of destination after the Sudan before application for a transit visa is made at the office.

4. Fee is 104.00 Canadian Dollars [Will increase to $235 as of November 1, 2023]

5. Please note that fees are nonrefundable.

Visa Requirements:

1. Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months from the date of entry into the Sudan.

2. Yellow fever and Cholera vaccinations are recommended.

3. One (1) filled out application form. (Photocopies may be made of the form). Download Visa application

4. Two (2) passport sized photograph.

5. Visa application forms must be signed by the applicant.

6. Attach a copy of the Sudanese passport or a copy of the Sudanese Nationality document for Sudanese applicants ONLY.

7. Attach a copy of travel itinerary

For Business:

1. A letter from the sponsoring company, stating the purpose of the trip, duration of stay, financial responsibility and references in the Sudan.

2. Copies of correspondences with contacts in the Sudan are most welcome.

3. For Business Visa the fee is: $127.00 [Will increase to $270 as of November 1, 2023]

4. Please note that fees are nonrefundable.

In cases of Diplomatic and Official passports: 

1. diplomatic notes are required from the Sudan Desk in the Department of State.

2. No fees are required for Diplomatic and Official passports.

 

Notes:

 

1. Applicant's sending their applications by mail are REQUIRED to furnish the Embassy with a Return envelope (postage/shipment paid by the applicant) using one of the services listed below. Failure to send one may cause delay in the return of the passport(s).

2. All fees are payable by Cash, Money Order or Cashier's Check ONLY!!! Personal Checks and Personal Money Orders are NOT acceptable.

3. Applicant's sending their application by mail are REQUIRED to furnish the Embassy with a Return envelope (postage/shipment paid by the applicant) using one of the following services:

   • Express Mail (available from any Canadian Post Office).

   • Federal Express.

   • Airborne Express.

 

Registration should be within three days from the arrival in the Sudan at Foreigners Department, Ministry of Interior in Khartoum
