Entry Visa:

 

 Applicants of Sudanese Descent Click Here 

1. Issued to persons going to Sudan for the purpose of tourism or business whose stay would be from eight (8) days to three (3) months?

2. Extensions of periods of stay in Sudan may be done through the Passport, Immigration and Nationality Office in Khartoum, Sudan.

3. Fee is 104.00 Canadian Dollars

4. For longer periods of stay the fees are:

5. For six months: Fee is $390.00;

6. For one year: Fee is $780.00

 

Transit Visa:

 

1. Issued to persons going to Sudan for the purpose of transit, tourism or whose stay would be one (1) to seven (7) days.

2. The country of destination after the Sudan should be indicated on the application form, together with the anticipated date of arrival and departure from Sudan.

3. Applicant's passport should be duly endorsed for permission to enter the next country of destination after the Sudan before application for a transit visa is made at the office.

4. Fee is 104.00 Canadian Dollars

 

Visa Requirements:

 

1. Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months from the date of entry to Sudan.

2. Yellow fever and Cholera vaccinations are recommended.

3. One (1) filled out application form. (Photocopies may be made of the form). Download Visa application

4. Two (2) passport sized photograph.

5. Visa application forms must be signed by the applicant.

6. Attach a copy of the Sudanese passport or a copy of the Sudanese Nationality document for Sudanese applicants ONLY.

​  7- Attach a copy of travel itinerary

 

For Business:

 

1. A letter from the sponsoring company, stating the purpose of the trip, duration of stay, financial responsibility and references in Sudan.

2. Copies of correspondences with contacts in Sudan are most welcome.

3. For Business Visa the fee is: $127.00

In cases of Diplomatic and Official passports: 

1. Diplomatic notes are required from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development of Canada

2. No fees are required for Diplomatic passport, but for private visits fees may apply.

 

Notes:

 

1. Applicant's sending their applications by mail are REQUIRED to furnish the Embassy with a Return envelope (postage/shipment paid by the applicant) using one of the services listed below.

2. All fees are payable by Cash, Money Order or Cashier's Check ONLY!!! Personal Checks and Personal Money Orders are NOT acceptable.

3. Applicant's sending their application by mail are REQUIRED to furnish the Embassy with a Return envelope (postage/shipment paid by the applicant) using one of the following services:

   • Express Mail (available from any Canadian Post Office).

   • Federal Express.

   • Airborne Express.

 

Registration should be within three days from the arrival in Sudan at Foreigners Department, Ministry of Interior in Khartoum
